SMSWeather is a free text-message weather service for the United States. By requesting access or texting the service, you agree to these terms.
You text the service a place name, ZIP, airport code, or GPS coordinates and it replies with one short message containing weather information. It only ever replies — it never messages you on its own, and there is no marketing or newsletter.
Access is granted at our discretion, and may be revoked at any time. US coverage only.

The service is provided as-is, with no warranty of any kind, for general information only.
Do not rely on it in an emergency or where safety depends on it. Forecasts and alerts can be wrong, delayed, or undelivered, and satellite and cellular delivery is never guaranteed. Use official National Weather Service channels and your own judgment for any decision affecting your safety.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service, or from any information it provides.
Do not send unlawful or abusive content, attempt to disrupt the service, or use it in a way that interferes with anyone else’s use of it. Access may be revoked for any of these.
Forecast data comes from the National Weather Service. Place data is © OpenStreetMap contributors. Your information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
